Selwyn district

The fastest-growing part of Canterbury and where a lot of our new-build work happens. Big flat sections, fresh subdivisions and plenty of bare ground.

New builds: Rolleston's Faringdon and Acland Park, Lincoln's newer blocks, Prebbleton and West Melton lifestyle sections — we handle the whole section from post-build scrape through to finished lawn and planting.

Waimakariri district

North of the river, from Kaiapoi through to Rangiora and Oxford. Free-draining in places, heavy and wet in others — we grade each site to suit.

New builds: Pegasus, Ravenswood, Silverstream and the newer Rangiora blocks are full of freshly built homes waiting on landscaping. We work in around builders and fencers to finish sections properly.

Banks Peninsula & harbour bays

Steeper, tighter sites where access and level changes matter. We're set up for slope work, retaining and terracing on hill sections.

New builds: New hill-section builds in Governors Bay, Diamond Harbour and the Lyttelton bays usually need retaining and terracing before anything else. Access is checked on-site before we quote.

Service area questions

Which areas do you cover for new-build landscaping?
We cover Christchurch city, the Selwyn district (Rolleston, Lincoln, Prebbleton, West Melton, Darfield and surrounds), the Waimakariri district (Kaiapoi, Rangiora, Woodend, Pegasus, Oxford) and the harbour bays around Lyttelton. Most new-build sections we landscape sit inside a 40 minute drive of Christchurch.
Do you charge travel for jobs outside Christchurch?
Not for anywhere inside our core coverage across Christchurch, Selwyn and Waimakariri. For places further out like Ashburton, Akaroa or Methven we will let you know any travel allowance up front in the written quote, before you commit to anything.
My new build is not on your list — can you still help?
Very likely. The lists here are the places we work most often, not a hard boundary. Call 022 083 7051 with your address and Brett will tell you straight away whether we can get to you and when.
Can you start before the house is finished?
Often yes. On new builds it pays to sort levels, drainage runs and any retaining while machinery still has clear access to the section. We are happy to work in around your builder's programme.
Do you work on new subdivisions with landscaping covenants?
Yes. Plenty of Canterbury subdivisions set a deadline and a minimum standard for front-yard landscaping. Bring us the covenant wording and we will quote a plan that meets it inside the timeframe.
